INTEROCEAN Agencies
Ltd was formed in 1990 initially to represent the activities of the
Round-the-World container services of Bremen based Senator Lines, in
Ireland. During that same year, Senator Lines and Rostock based DSR Lines inaugurated a
joint Round-the-World service for
which INTEROCEAN was appointed agents.
In
addition, the Company was appointed
General Agents for their full range of services throughout the world.
INTEROCEAN is proud to have also
been appointed general agents in Ireland for the services of:
H Stinnes Linien, covering the Caribbean, Mexico and Southern Africa.
OPDR Hamburg
for their container services to and from Spain, Portugal, Morocco and the Canary
Islands.
J S Braid's Glasgow based world-wide
Bulk Tank services.
Cascadia
Container Line for their service to and from the U.S Pacific North West.
Euroworld
Transport Systems Inc. Canada representing their services for the
Societe Des Alcools du Quebec (SAQ)
ALBATRANS International Freight Forwarders for their services on behalf
of the U.S. Wines and Spirits Shippers Association (WSSA).
INTEROCEAN Agencies
Ltd is primarily a Liner Agency company representing the services of
Container Shipping Lines with the responsibilities for development,
sales and operations of their services within the Irish import and export
markets.
In addition,
INTEROCEAN
Forwarding Services Ltd plays a
major role to and from those areas where our agencies do not serve,
complementing our agency network and geared to the
customer's individual needs.
To
further enhance and to improve the overall standard of service offered to
our customers, INTEROCEAN designed and installed a Quality Management
System modelled on the requirements of ISO 9002.
Since its formation in 1990, INTEROCEAN
